Russian Falcon Movement exists since 2000, starting from the moment of creation of the first regional organization in Saint Petersburg.
Now Russian Falcon Movement unites several regional Russian Falcon organizations including Saint Petersburg, Moscow, Nizhniy Novgorod, Leningrad region, Ufa, Moscow region, Kaliningrad.
Russian Falcon Movement is not a political organization and it doesnt belong to any party.
However, in their activities Russian Falcons are guided by the principles of the world social democracy, such as Freedom, Equality, the Brotherhood.
Russian Falcon Movement is actively engaged in the international activities, it cooperates with a wide range of foreign organizations and funds.
Since November 2002 Russian Falcon Movement is a member of IFM-SEI-(International Falcon Movement-Socialist Educational International) - www.ifm-sei.org.
Russian Falcon Movement actively cooperates with public and other organizations of Russia.
Our main objective is to build the Civil Society in Russia in accordance with the world principles of democracy. Our main activity is organizing non-formal education.
We organize seminars, round tables, conferences, summer camps, where we discuss different topics: human rights, gender problems, minorities problems, European citizenship, nationalism and racism, conflict resolution, different forms of discrimination etc. We use such methods of non-formal education as discussions, lectures of authorities, role games, peer education, etc. Our main target group is youngsters and children.
Also one of directions of our activity- youth exchange programs.
We already have successful experience of Youth exchange with Germany and Austria, planning to organize such a programs with some other countries.
Russian Falcons- members of association FMTU (From Mediterranean Till Ural)- which United organizations from Belgium(Pac Evere) , Italy(Arci), Bulgaria(association Solidarity), Ukraine(Ukrainian falcons), Belarus(Maladaya Gramada), Slovakia(AKO), organizations from Bosnia, Macedonia, Serbia, Hungary- who work with Youngsters.
